About the Role New England College seeks a part-time faculty member to teach Introduction to Sociology in the undergraduate residential program. The preference is for face-to-face instruction, although teaching an asynchronous online version is an option at times. What You'll Do
- Engage all students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes.
- Review and grade all work submitted by students and provide timely and substantive feedback.
- Coach struggling students toward success.
- Provide experiential learning opportunities whenever possible. What We're Looking For
- Minimum of a master's degree in sociology or related field.
- Prior teaching and proven record of teaching effectiveness.
- Availability to teach in the undergraduate residential program, with possible online option as needed. Nice to Have
- PhD in Sociology or related field Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary per credit: $667 for online undergraduate courses; $850 for undergraduate courses (per credit).
