About the Role Regent University’s School of Psychology & Counseling seeks adjunct faculty to teach on campus in the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.). This part-time role supports Christ-centered teaching and academic excellence within a faith-based environment. A doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program is required, with emphasis on integrating Christian principles into teaching. What You'll Do
- Teach on-campus courses in the Psy.D. program; contribute to undergraduate-level course offerings;
- Utilize instructional technology (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas) to support student learning;
- Uphold the College and University Identity and Mission statements and maintain a Christ-centered approach to pedagogy;
- Demonstrate potential for or engagement in scholarly activity. What We're Looking For
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Psy.D.) or a related discipline from an APA-accredited program is required;
- Previous teaching and clinical experience preferred;
- Proficiency with instructional technology (Blackboard, Canvas);
- Ability to teach undergraduate-level courses;
- Commitment to Christ-centered teaching and alignment with Regent’s faith-based mission. Nice to Have
- Experience with online instructional platforms and technologies beyond the standard LMS;
- Record of qualitative or quantitative scholarship in psychology. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $600 - $5,500 per 3 credit hour course, depending on class size;
- Benefits: Not eligible for benefits.
