Job title: Adjunct Faculty (Nursing)
About the Role Part-time adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati, responsible for teaching and supporting nursing courses; may serve as an academic advisor; responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, evaluating student coursework, responding to communications, and other duties as assigned.
What You'll Do
- Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
- May serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
- Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner, to all University-related communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- BSN or higher from an approved registered nursing education program.
- Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio.
- At least two (2) years of experience in the practice of nursing as an RN.
- Ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars; evaluate student coursework.
- Strong communication skills and timely response to university communications.
- Willingness to support students and participate in academic activities as needed.
Nice to Have
- Experience as an adjunct faculty or in higher education teaching is a plus.
- Experience with academic advising is helpful.
