About this role
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Non-tenured part-time adjunct faculty position responsible for undergrad and graduate nursing students clinical rotations to area hospitals, nursing homes, and community health centers. May require laboratory hours on campus in practice lab, simulation lab, or graduate nursing lab. Principal Responsibilities: Assigned for entire semester at clinical site and/or labs on campus. Assigns patient to student nurses with safety protocols in mind to ensure students receive the most from their clinical rotations. Supervise students in all aspects of care of patients/clients. Conduct pre and post conferences in areas that do not interfere with the coordination of patient care. Evaluate the clinical performance of the student (at midpoint and end-of-semester) and grade all clinical assignments as noted on syllabi determined by lecture professor.
