About the Role Adjunct faculty for Stevenson University Online: Healthcare Management will teach courses in the online graduate program in accordance with university workload policies. This posting is to build an applicant pool; assignments depend on need. Reports to the Program Director.

What You'll Do

• Conduct up to 18 contact hours per academic year (max 9 in a single semester).
• Teach online/hybrid/classroom courses; develop materials; mentor students; review exams; provide accommodations where needed.
• Prepare syllabi; respond to email; grade in a timely manner; submit mid-term and final grades and other required reports.
• Complete required professional development.
• Uphold professional conduct, policies, and academic freedom; collaborate with colleagues; teach day/evening/online/hybrid as scheduled.
• May travel between campuses; be proficient with Blackboard or a similar LMS; communicate effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Masters in Health Administration or MBA or related field; at least five years of graduate online teaching in healthcare management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Doctorate in Health Care Management or closely related field preferred.
• Knowledge of epidemiology and statistics; healthcare management; healthcare financial management; HR in healthcare; strategic planning; teamwork; organizational behavior; cultural competency; regulations/standards; project management; quality management and patient safety.
• Demonstrated teaching ability; ability to teach students of varying backgrounds; strong communication and interpersonal skills; inclusive pedagogy; student-centered; ability to assess learning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; LMS experience (Blackboard or similar); ability to travel between campuses; ability to work evenings and weekends; good time management.

Nice to Have

• Doctorate in Health Care Management or closely related field preferred.
