About the Role McKendree University invites qualified applicants to join our team as an adjunct faculty member to teach First Year Writing I and II for face-to-face courses at the Lebanon, IL Campus. The position supports the university's mission to provide a high-quality educational experience and to prepare students for leadership roles in our society. What You'll Do
- Teach First Year Writing I and First Year Writing II for face-to-face courses at the Lebanon, IL Campus. What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Prior college teaching experience (preferred).
- Ability to teach and manage a classroom in a part-time adjunct capacity. Nice to Have
- Availability for online/remote opportunities if needed (must reside in IL, CA, FL, TN, KY). Compensation & Benefits
- Regular pay rate: $2,145.00 for each 3-hour course, per semester. Higher rates may apply for larger course enrollments, labs, or other duties.
- Part-time employees are not eligible for benefits.
- Deferred compensation plan eligibility for part-time employees averaging 20 hours per week.
