About the Role Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach English in the Humanities Department at the Virginia Beach campus. This part-time role supports undergraduate English and interdisciplinary General Education courses on campus, with compensation by credit hour and per course.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate English courses and interdisciplinary General Education courses on campus at Regent University’s Virginia Beach campus.
- Demonstrate Christ-centered teaching and learning and align with the College and University Identity and Mission statements; subscribe to the statement of Christian faith.
- Utilize online instructional technology to support on-campus instruction.
- Engage in academic scholarship or show potential for scholarly activity.
What We're Looking For
- Earned MA from a regionally-accredited institution.
- Ability to teach undergraduate English courses and interdisciplinary General Education courses.
- Demonstrated ability or willingness to teach on-campus at the Virginia Beach campus.
- Facility with online instructional technology.
- Commitment to Christ-centered teaching and learning and to Regent's Identity and Mission statements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $100 per credit hour per student, up to $3,000 per course.
- Benefits: Not eligible.
