Job Title Adjunct Faculty - Education
Position Purpose
New England College seeks part-time faculty to teach undergraduate Education courses face-to-face on our Henniker, NH campus. Courses are for education majors seeking educator licensure with the State of NH. Day time (8:00-4:30), face-to-face Henniker campus availability is a priority.
Essential Duties Summary
- Engage all students and facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes
- Review and grade all work submitted by students providing timely and substantive feedback
- Coach struggling students toward success
- Provide “experiential learning” opportunities when possible
- Support and facilitate course signature assessments
- Adhere to State of NH Department of Education teacher preparation standards
- Maintain twice-a-week, face-to-face
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and use of effective and innovative pedagogy, curriculum design and learning outcome alignment.
- Experience in the field
- Prior teaching and proven record of teaching effectiveness.
- Master’s Degree in Education or related field
- Current NH State Teaching Certification.
