Job title: Adjunct Faculty – Business Analytics
About the Role The Graduate Department in Mercy University’s School of Business seeks part-time adjunct faculty to develop and teach graduate-level Business Analytics courses. Instructors may teach in-person at the Manhattan campus or online (synchronous or asynchronous) and may be assigned up to three course assignments per term to support applied, practice-oriented learning.
What You'll Do
- Develop and teach graduate-level Business Analytics courses (where applicable) and deliver instruction across modalities.
- Create and update course materials, assessments, and grading rubrics.
- Manage up to three course assignments per term based on program needs and enrollment.
- Engage students and promote inclusive excellence and practical analytics skills.
- Collaborate with the department to ensure alignment with program goals.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Operations Research, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in analytics, data, or related applied setting.
- Ability to teach and mentor in various modalities (in-person and online).
- Strong commitment to inclusive excellence, student engagement, and applied learning.
- Preferred: prior college teaching experience, industry certifications, or demonstrated expertise in analytics tools, platforms, or methodologies relevant to the course area.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $3,000.00 - $3,750.00 per term (part-time).
