About the Role
The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Mercy University invites qualified candidates to join as Adjunct Faculty for its undergraduate and graduate programs. The role involves teaching across multiple campuses including Dobbs Ferry, Bronx, Manhattan, and Distance Learning.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate or graduate courses in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
- Contribute to student success initiatives and collaborate in a dynamic team environment.
- Leverage Learning Management Systems to deliver coursework and engage diverse learners.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree required; candidates with a record of excellent teaching experience strongly preferred.
- Commitment to working with a diverse population of students.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), particularly Blackboard, and leading virtual meetings via Zoom or similar.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $3,500 - $3,600 per 3-credit course. Rank is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Compensation is based on a semester and is paid on a semi-monthly pay cycle.
