Job title: Adjunct Dissertation Committee Member for Doctor of Education in Organizational Change & Administration (Remote)
About the Role The Adjunct Dissertation Committee Member serves on dissertation committees for the EdD in Organizational Change and Administration (Remote) within the Jabs School of Business. The role involves chairing and/or serving as a reader, guiding dissertation development, and preparing students for oral defenses in a remote/online setting.
What You'll Do
- Serve as chair or committee member and support students in the development of their dissertations in the field of Business Administration.
- Review dissertation chapters and provide feedback on content and quality.
- Prepare dissertation students for the oral defense (Chair only) and attend the virtual defense.
- Coach students to develop IRB applications and approve applications prior to submission (Chair only).
- Adhere to department guidelines and expectations.
What We're Looking For
- Accredited Doctoral degree in related fields; Organizational Leadership, Education Leadership, or Organizational Change preferred.
- Evidence of scholarship or mentoring of graduate students or dissertations (preferred).
- Experience chairing dissertation students in the field of business.
- Commitment to academic excellence and working with diverse adult students.
