About the Role The Department of Music, Theatre & Dance at Taylor University invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Dance Instructor to teach Ballet Technique and Modern Technique courses. The instructor will contribute to undergraduate teaching and foster technical excellence, artistic growth, and a supportive learning environment for students studying dance, musical theatre, and related disciplines.
What You'll Do
- Teach Ballet Technique and Modern Technique courses at the undergraduate level.
- Foster technical excellence, artistic growth, and a supportive learning environment for students studying dance, musical theatre, and related disciplines.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support program activities and student mentoring.
What We're Looking For
- MFA in Dance preferred; significant professional dance performance and/or teaching experience will be considered in lieu of an MFA.
- Experience teaching ballet and modern dance techniques at the collegiate or pre-professional level.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and collaborative skills.
- This is a part-time adjunct position.
