About the Role WSU’s College of Engineering and Computer Science is accepting applications for adjunct teaching positions for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 semesters. Individuals with academic and performance qualifications for the ranks of adjunct instructor through adjunct professor are encouraged to apply for positions in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Official transcripts will be required prior to hiring.
What You'll Do Teach courses in Computer Science or Computer Engineering as adjunct faculty for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027. Collaborate with the department on course development, delivery, and student assessment as appropriate. Ensure compliance with program standards and institutional policies; provide official transcripts when requested during the hiring process.
What We're Looking For Professional experience or academic qualifications covering the subject matter taught within the College of Engineering and Computer Science. An academic degree one level above the level at which you will teach, except in terminal degree programs where the same level is required. If teaching outside the field of your advanced degree, you must have completed at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in the field. Applicants with qualifications for ranks from adjunct instructor through adjunct professor are encouraged to apply.
