About the Role WSU’s Department of Computer Science & Engineering is accepting applications for adjunct teaching positions for the 2026-2027 academic year (Fall 2026–Summer 2027). Individuals with qualifications across the ranks from adjunct instructor to adjunct professor are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

  • Teach courses in Computer Science & Engineering for the 2026-2027 academic year, as assigned by the department.
  • Maintain course standards and contribute to student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with full-time faculty and participate in department activities as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Professional experience or academic qualifications covering subject matter taught within the CS&E department.
  • An academic degree one level above the level at which you will teach, except in terminal degree programs or when equivalent experience is established.
  • If teaching outside your advanced degree field, you must have completed at least 18 graduate credit hours in that field.
  • At least 1 year of professional or teaching experience.
