About the Role
The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at California Baptist University invites applications for an adjunct faculty appointment in the area of Anthropology, Christian Behavioral Science, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Sociology. Preference will be given to applicants with a history of quality teaching, notable scholarship and demonstrated relational skills. The appointment may include teaching undergraduate or graduate courses in the specific field, including introductory courses and courses in theory and methodology. Graduate courses may be taught in any of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences graduate programs.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Anthropology, Christian Behavioral Science, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.
- Deliver courses that may include introductory offerings and advanced theory/methodology, and, where appropriate, graduate coursework in the College's graduate programs.
What We're Looking For
- A master's degree in Anthropology, Christian Behavioral Science, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology.
- A strong interest in and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a history of quality teaching, notable scholarship and demonstrated relational skills.
- Ability to teach undergraduate or graduate courses and to contribute to graduate programs within the College.
