About the Role California Baptist University invites applications for the Adjunct- Clinical Supervisor/Licensed Clinician to supervise doctoral students in Psychological Services of Riverside (PSR), a clinic affiliated with CBU’s PsyD Program, with the option to personally see clients. The successful candidate will hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and an active California psychology license.
What You'll Do
- Provide one hour of weekly individual supervision to up to six doctoral students in the PSR clinic.
- Provide two hours of weekly group supervision.
- Engage in consultation, chart review, and attendance at a weekly staff meeting.
- Conduct direct observation through video recordings to ensure ethical and effective practice.
- As a licensed clinician, have the option to see clients at the clinic on a part-time basis.
- Ensure student clinicians operate ethically, professionally, and effectively through supervision and documentation reviews.
What We're Looking For
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology or a related field.
- Graduated from an APA-accredited doctoral program.
- Completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship.
- Active California psychology license.
- No history of ethical complaints.
- Strong supervisory and clinical skills; ability to supervise multiple learners.
- Commitment to serving diverse populations and collaborating within an academic setting.
Nice to Have
- Spanish language ability (preferred).
- Experience supervising doctoral students in a university-affiliated clinic.
- Commitment to the mission and values of California Baptist University.
