Job title: Adjunct - Chemistry (Fall 2026-Summer 2027)
About the Role Wright State University's Chemistry Department in the College of Science and Mathematics is seeking adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach chemistry courses. The positions are open to individuals with qualifications for ranks from adjunct instructor through adjunct professor. Official transcripts will be required upon hire.
What You'll Do Teach chemistry courses for the 2026-2027 academic year as an adjunct faculty member. Additional duties may be assigned by the department as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience or academic qualifications covering subject matter taught within Chemistry.
- An academic degree one level above the level at which you will teach, except in programs for terminal degrees or when equivalent experience is established. In terminal degree programs, adjunct faculty must possess the same level of degree.
- If teaching outside field of their advanced degree, must have completed at least 18 graduate level credit hours of instruction in the field where they teach.
- At least 1 year professional or teaching experience.
