Job title: Adjunct - Aviation (Revised) (Fall 2026 - Summer 2027)
About the Role The job is to teach courses in the Aviation Department’s Aviation programs. Wright State University’s Aviation Department invites applications for its adjunct instructor pool to begin preparing and teaching aviation courses.
What You'll Do
- Teach courses in the Aviation Department’s programs (100% of duties)
- Prepare and enhance course materials, including course syllabus preparation
- Prepare Pilot Student interfaces for each course and prepare lecture materials
- Prepare student assignments and maintain accurate, transparent student records
- Maintain regularly scheduled office hours and respond promptly to email inquiries to support student success
- Adhere to all administrative University policies
- Maintain professional development to stay current within assigned courses
- Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Evidence of competence in the area of specialization (minimum qualifications)
- Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree and teaching experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Minimum Annual or Hourly Rate: FA ADJ (no specific numeric amount provided)
