Job title: Adjunct Athletic Training Faculty
About the Role Gannon University is seeking an Adjunct Athletic Training Faculty to teach 1-2 courses within the MAT curriculum, ensuring alignment with CAATE Curricular Content Standards and contributing to programmatic assessment reporting when applicable.
What You'll Do
- Teach 1-2 MAT curriculum courses each term, typically in 8-week sessions with labs and lectures.
- Courses meet 4 days per week for 2 hours per day; manage time to allow preparation.
- If teaching more than one class, efforts will be made to minimize the number of courses in the same 8-week session to manage workload.
- Use Blackboard Ultra or other LMS to manage courses and deliver content; adapt to course design and SLOs.
- Participate in or report on programmatic assessments as required.
What We're Looking For
- Athletic Training BOC Certification
- PA State License
- Ability to teach graduate students in face-to-face didactic and lab settings on a daily basis throughout the course
- Familiarity with, or ability to learn, Blackboard Ultra or other LMS
- Willingness to teach graduate-level courses and manage lab components
Nice to Have
- Experience teaching graduate or undergraduate students (preferred)
