Job title: Additive Manufacturing Operations Technician
Indianapolis, IN, United States | req31778 1st Shift (07:00am - 03:30pm) Monday - Friday
What you will enjoy doing You will support and participate in current and new safety, quality and lean initiatives / policies as business needs arise Additionally, you will read, understand, and use Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks You possess the ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment where priorities may shift You will be expected to perform all functions related to machine turnaround and preparation for Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) 3D printers You have proven experience working with basic shop tools and hand tools Further, you will be expected to trouble shoot operational issues and relay critical information to the team You will be tasked with basic ordering of supplies and shipping products once production is completed
What makes you great A High School diploma / GED is required. Advanced degrees or technical certifications are a plus but not required You have a minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience It is preferred that you have experience in Additive Manufacturing or working with metal powders but not required Moreover, you must have a basic understanding of machine tools (milling, lathe, drill press, etc.) You have experience working in a technical capacity with a manufacturing focus You display organizational skills with attention to detail and are self-motivated Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred for this role
