Athra Systems/Crosstown Mental Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist with addiction medicine experience to provide comprehensive substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services. This role involves psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, detoxification oversight, and ongoing treatment for individuals in a residential setting. The Psychiatrist will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with substance use and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and substance use disorder evaluations and assessments for patients
- Diagnose and treat substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions
- Provide psychiatric oversight and medication management for detoxification and residential treatment patients
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and recovery plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications and medications related to addiction treatment and recovery
- Provide supportive psychotherapy, patient education, and relapse prevention interventions as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Maintain timely, detailed, and accurate patient documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
Compensation
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- Pay Range: $325,000 - $345,000

Requirements
-
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Fellowship training or experience in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine preferred

Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license

DEA registration and prescriptive authority in Arizona

Experience treating patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions preferred

Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
