The Role
-
Actuarial Associate / Lead Associate will be involved in many projects related to insurance consulting. Under guidance of consultants, you will provide mathematical analysis as well as review of analyses by team members, and prepare reports and presentations.

Motivated members may have opportunities to participate in APAC projects and to work in global teams using English. Through the role, you will develop cross-cultural communication skills and leverage expertise for international clients, enabling international career growth. As you gain experience and knowledge, opportunities to work as actuarial consultant in Japan and APAC will expand.

Actuarial Associate / Lead Associate will be evaluated on four aspects: Clients, Financial, People, Excellence.

Clients: respond to client inquiries politely, build and maintain good relationships; process improvements for efficiency; function as a coordinator for project managers and consultants.

Financial: meet annual billed hours targets; contribute to business development activities such as proposal preparation and RFIs.

People: smooth communication within teams and across departments; flexible, collaborative communication with clients/consultants; understand WTW services and seize opportunities to contribute to client outcomes; coordinate with internal stakeholders as needed.

Excellence: efficient data collection, analysis, project execution; contribute to projects using specialist knowledge; prepare client materials and participate in presentations; actively participate in internal training; steady progress in actuarial exams.

Qualifications

Essential
-
Experience in actuarial work related to life or non-life insurance at an insurance company; actuarial candidate (associate or subject exam passed); advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office business-level skills.
