About the Role Actuarial Analyst - Rater Delivery performs actuarial pricing analyses and develops pricing models using ratemaking techniques, while providing programming support to underwriters. The role leverages Python, GitHub, Excel, and HyperExponential software in an actuarial context to deploy pricing concepts underlying software solutions. What You'll Do
- Perform actuarial pricing analyses and develop pricing models using ratemaking techniques.
- Provide actuarial pricing support for underwriters; perform programming development.
- Develop using Python, GitHub, Excel, and HyperExponential software in an actuarial context.
- Perform actuarial mathematical and technical development and programming.
- Apply casualty actuarial pricing principles, ratemaking, deductible pricing, increased limit factors, and casualty coverages.
- Deploy pricing concepts underlying actuarial software being developed. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Python, GitHub, Excel, and HyperExponential software in an actuarial context.
- Experience performing actuarial mathematical and technical development and programming.
- Experience applying casualty pricing principles, ratemaking, deductible pricing, increased limit factors, and casualty coverages.
- Demonstrated ability to deploy pricing concepts underlying actuarial software. Nice to Have
