About the Role Evergreen (Pipeline) Requisition for Odyssey's Acquisition Program Management Professionals to join a talent community for anticipated DoD opportunities supporting AFLCMC Armament Directorate and other DoD programs. The role involves planning, researching, and advising on program execution across the DoD lifecycle to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives. What You'll Do
- Provide acquisition program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support)
- Advise Government Program Managers on program execution, acquisition strategy, and risk management
- Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation (AS, SEP, TEMP, LCSP, SOW/SOO, CDRLs)
- Monitor and evaluate program cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; maintain and manage risk registers
- Lead or support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), milestone reviews, and technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Support source selection activities, including proposal evaluation and contract modifications
- Coordinate across engineering, logistics, test, and financial stakeholders for integrated program execution
- Prepare and deliver briefings, status reports, and decision support to senior leadership
- Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international armaments cooperation, as applicable What We're Looking For
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
- Clearance: Secret (minimum)
- Education and experience: Journeyman/Senior/Principal track with required degrees and years (see postings): e.g., Journeyman: BA/BS + 7 years or MS + 5 years; Senior: BA/BS + 25 years or MS + 15 years; Principal: MS + 25 years
- Program management experience, preferably within a DoD acquisition environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting ACAT I–III programs or equivalent Nice to Have
- Clearance: Top Secret (TS) or TS/SCI
- Certifications: PMP, DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management or equivalent
- Experience: AFLCMC/SAF/AQ or equivalent, FMS programs, armament systems experience
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes and DoDI 5000 series
- Experience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation (AS, SEP, TEMP, LCSP, etc.)
- Technical Skills: EVM analysis, risk management, scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera), JCIDS (ICD, CDD, CPD)
- Interpersonal Skills: Independent advisor to leadership, strong leadership and cross-functional coordination, effective communication Compensation & Benefits
