Accounts Teacher - Secondary School
Our client, a reputable Secondary School with international affiliation, located around Ago Palace Way, Okota, Lagos, is currently recruiting a qualified and experienced Accounts Teacher to join its academic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Financial Accounting effectively to secondary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans, classwork, assignments and assessments.
- Explain accounting concepts clearly using practical examples.
- Prepare students adequately for internal and external examinations.
- Maintain proper student records and monitor academic progress.
- Manage the classroom effectively and maintain discipline.
- Participate in school activities and work collaboratively with other teachers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Education/Accounting or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience after NYSC.
- Strong knowledge of secondary school Accounting/Financial Accounting.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use practical teaching methods to make Accounting easy to understand.
- Responsible, dedicated and team-oriented.
- Only candidates who reside in Okota or its environs and meet the experience requirements will be considered.
- Successful candidates will write a written subject-based test as part of the selection process.
