Accounts Receivable Specialist II
Security Industry Specialists, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join our team in Culver City!

In this role, you will work closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager and provide day-to-day guidance to AR Clerks. You'll help ensure payments are processed accurately, outstanding balances are followed up on, and customer account issues are resolved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and coordinate collection efforts for past-due accounts.
- Review payments, credits, and adjustments to ensure accurate and timely posting.
- Work with customers and internal departments to resolve payment disputes, short pays, and unapplied cash.
- Assist with cash application reconciliations and borrowing base calculations.
- Provide guidance and day-to-day support to Accounts Receivable Clerks.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and update standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate account documentation and escalate complex issues to the AR Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience, with a focus on collections and cash application.
- Previous team lead, supervisory, or mentoring experience.
- Experience monitoring aging reports and following through on collections.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Workday.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and reporting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellent customer service.
- Must be able to work 100% on-site in Culver City, CA.
