About this role
Join Continental's Shared Service Center in Timișoara as an Accounts Receivable Accountant with German. You will manage collections, payments, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accurate customer ledgers and timely responses across departments.
Contact assigned customers regarding overdue invoices and record activities in SAP notes. Analyze payment discrepancies (price, quantity, claims) and coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Quality for clarification. Perform regular dunning and process incoming payments from customers. Issue Debit and Credit notes to customers. Run reports and review aging to prioritize follow-up accounts. Prepare overdue reports and comment on the actual status. Reconcile accounts and send statements to customers. Prepare monthly accounting reports. Analyze customer accounts for calculating bad debt provisions. Prepare documents for audit reports. Participate in migration of processes to the Shared Service Center; identify improvement needs and contribute to enhancement projects.
University degree in Finance / Economics or comparable. 3+ years experience preferred. Knowledge of up-to-date finance tools (SAP preferred). Good English skills; German is a very big plus. Willingness to work in an international environment.
