Location: Jackson, MI (On-Site, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm) Starting Salary: Up to $50,000 + Benefits Industry: Manufacturing

Job Summary

Our manufacturing client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist / Receptionist to support daily accounting operations while serving as the front desk point of contact for visitors, callers, and internal staff. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their accounting and administrative skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and assist with coding invoices for payment. Based on general knowledge.

• Help maintain accounts payable records and ensure invoices are entered accurately and timely. Based on general knowledge.

• Assist with check runs, filing, and vendor statement reconciliation.

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and account information.

• Greet visitors, answer and direct incoming phone calls, and manage front desk coverage.

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and general office correspondence.

• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning, filing, and supply ordering.

• Work with accounting and operations teams to support day-to-day office and financial processes.

• 1+ years of experience in accounts payable, receptionist duties, administrative support, or a related role preferred.

• Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and general office procedures.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing office environment.

• Ability to multitask and manage both accounting and front desk responsibilities effectively.
