Job Description: A prominent manufacturing company is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its dynamic Finance & Accounts team. This role is based at the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, and offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our financial operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate financial transactions, and supporting critical month-end and year-end closing activities. This is a full-time position with work scheduled from Monday to Saturday.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and meticulously verify vendor invoices and all financial transactions.
- Perform comprehensive reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Efficiently process supplier payments and employee reimbursements.
- Ensure proper documentation and strict compliance with financial controls.
- Provide essential support for month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and proactively resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Assist with audit processes and contribute to financial reporting.
Qualifications

Hold an HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.

Possess 1-2 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, or a similar financial role.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and various accounting software/ERP systems.

Exhibit strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
