Job Summary
We are on the hunt for a smart, highly analytical and qualified Accounts Officer to join our team. In this pivotal position, your duties will include the following:
- Posting standard journal entries
- Managing and reconciling Health Management Organization (HMO) claims and receivables
- Reconciling payables and bank activities
- Monitoring financial transactions
- Assisting with budgets
- Participating in audits, and serving as the primary liaison between the hospital and HMO partners to ensure prompt and accurate payments
Requirements
- To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems.
- In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate must be a detailed person with outstanding analytical and time management abilities.
- Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and at least one accounting software (preferably Sage ERP).
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance with 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Proven experience in HMO claims management, reconciliation, and liaison within a healthcare setting is essential.
Salary
N160,000 - N180,000 per month.
