Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Accounts Executive to assist in managing the company’s financial records, reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to provide accurate financial information to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilties

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and budgets.
Generate financial reports and analysis to support management decision-making.
Develop and maintain effective accounting policies and internal controls.
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenues, and other financial activities.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile daily sales and bank statements.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Requirements

Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Accountant, Senior Accountant, Head of Accounts, or Finance Manager.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Retailman, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting systems.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organisational skills.
ICAN/ACCA certification or part-qualification is an added advantage.
Previous experience in the retail or supermarket industry will be an added advantage.

Salary

N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
