Job Description
Global Recruit Desk is seeking a smart, reliable, and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a team in CMD Road, Ikosi, Lagos. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for a fast learner eager to contribute to accurate financial record-keeping.
In this role, you will be responsible for recording and posting financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and assisting with trial balance preparation. You will also perform bank and account reconciliations, maintain accurate accounting records, and process invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses. The position involves assisting with accounts payable and receivable, maintaining proper financial documentation, and supporting the preparation of financial reports.
The ideal candidate will have some practical accounting experience and a good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping. You must be able to prepare and work with a trial balance and have a basic understanding of accounts payable and receivable. Experience with bank reconciliation and accounting software is advantageous. Strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are essential. Applicants must reside in or near Ketu, Lagos, and be able to commute to the office.

Key Responsibilities
- Record and post financial transactions.
- Prepare and process journal entries.
- Assist with trial balance preparation and review.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records.

Qualifications
