Accounting - Open Rank Tenure Track faculty position at Abilene Christian University, starting Fall 2027. The role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate accounting courses in a residential program with some online options, maintaining Scholarly Academic status through peer-reviewed publications and presentations, and mentoring students while performing department, college, and university service to support AACSB accreditation.
Teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses for students in a residential program, with some online options. Maintain Scholarly Academic (SA) status through peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and ongoing professional development aligned with AACSB accreditation. Mentor students and participate in department, college, and university service assignments. Collaborate with ACU-Dallas to support online programs and cross-campus initiatives as appropriate.
Earned doctorate or terminal degree in accounting (ABD status considered). Expertise in at least one accounting-related service area (e.g., audit, financial, cost, accounting information systems, analytics, controllership, etc.). Strong record of relevant research and/or professional experience; demonstrated ongoing professional development. Proven or strong potential for college/university teaching. Commitment to teaching in a Christian faith-based university and willingness to support ACU's Christian mission.
Experience with online program delivery or AACSB accreditation processes (preferred).
