About the Role Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager to engage in daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting in Chico, CA. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a forensic mindset who can stabilize accounting processes, resolve legacy reconciliation issues, and provide guidance to junior staff. What You'll Do
- Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger
- Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ideal candidate brings both hands-on execution and leadership presence
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- CPA, CMA, MBA a plus Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: 48 - 60 USD hourly
