About the Role Rutgers University is seeking an Accounting Manager II for The Office of the University Controller. Reporting to a Senior Manager, this role is responsible for the management and supervision of daily operations and performance of an accounting/financial functional unit, and for performing general accounting activities to support the University’s financial operations. What You'll Do
- Manage and supervise daily operations and performance of a university accounting/financial functional unit.
- Perform general accounting activities as part of day-to-day operations and ensure accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager and other units as needed to support financial reporting and efficiency. What We're Looking For
- Experience in accounting and in supervising a team or functional unit.
- Knowledge of general accounting activities and university finance processes.
- Ability to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
