Working Hours
- 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (IST), Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Support
- Assist with recording daily transactions and journal entries.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Help prepare and verify invoices, bills, and payment records.
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations.
- Documentation & Records
- Organise and maintain digital financial records and supporting documents.
- Ensure invoices, receipts, and claims are complete and properly filed.
- Follow up on missing or incomplete documents.
- Reporting Support
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and summaries.
- Update spreadsheets and trackers accurately.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Expense & Claims
- Review employee expense claims against supporting documents.
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments and claims.
- General Finance Support
- Assist with audit and compliance documentation.
- Support finance projects and ad-hoc analysis.
- Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com/M.Com), or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, Xero) is an advantage.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Own laptop and stable internet connection.
