We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations for a real estate and property organization in Longwood, Florida. This part-time opportunity is offered as a contract position with the potential to become permanent and is well suited for someone who enjoys accuracy, organization, and consistent administrative support within accounting functions. The person in this role will help maintain reliable financial records, assist with payment processing, and contribute to efficient back-office operations.

Responsibilities

• Enter financial information into accounting records with a high level of accuracy and timeliness.

• Support accounts payable activities by reviewing invoices and preparing documentation for payment processing.

• Assist with scheduled check runs to help ensure vendors are paid correctly and on time.

• Maintain organized accounting files and supporting records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.

• Verify data for completeness and correct discrepancies when needed to keep records accurate.

• Work with internal team members to address payment questions and provide routine accounting support.

• Experience supporting accounts payable or related accounting activities.

• Strong data entry skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with preparing or assisting with check runs.

• Ability to manage recurring tasks efficiently in a part-time role.

• Comfortable handling financial information with professionalism and confidentiality.

• Basic understanding of accounting processes and recordkeeping practices.
