Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk - Irvine, CA

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations in Irvine, California. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable handling both payables and receivables in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will help maintain clean financial records, process transactions efficiently, and contribute to smooth accounting workflows.

Responsibilities

• • Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and prepare payments in a timely manner.

• • Record customer payments, reconcile account activity, and follow up on outstanding balances as needed.

• • Enter financial data into accounting systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• • Maintain organized records for invoices, payments, and other accounting documentation for audit readiness.

• • Assist with account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and support accurate month-end reporting.

• • Use QuickBooks to update transactions, track balances, and maintain current financial information.

• • Communicate with internal teams and external contacts to resolve billing or payment issues efficiently.

• • Experience supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• • Proficiency with QuickBooks and general accounting software tools.

• • Strong data entry skills with a consistent focus on accuracy.

• • Background in invoice review, processing, and record maintenance.

• • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized.

• • Solid written and verbal communication skills for handling payment and billing inquiries.

• • Basic understanding of accounting procedures and financial documentation.
