Accounting Clerk

Robert Half

We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a wholesale distribution organization in Beaverton, Oregon. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate with numbers, and comfortable handling a mix of payables, receivables, and financial record maintenance. The role will contribute to efficient transaction processing, timely invoicing, and dependable administrative support across accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting details, and prepare payments in accordance with established timelines.

• Maintain customer billing records, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances to support accounts receivable activities.

• Enter financial and transactional data into accounting systems with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.

• Reconcile account information and investigate discrepancies to help keep records current and reliable.

• Support daily accounting operations by organizing documentation, updating ledgers, and maintaining audit-ready files.

• Use accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Invoice Pro, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP to manage routine financial transactions.

• Assist with reporting needs by compiling financial information and preparing summaries for internal review.

• Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong data entry skills with close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Background in invoice processing and financial record management.

• Familiarity with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Solid organizational and communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external contacts.
