Accounting Clerk
Robert Half Contract Finance & Accounting is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a temporary opportunity with a mission-driven organization in the Truckee area. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with financial documentation, ensuring compliance, and supporting a collaborative fiscal team.
What You'll Do
- Review invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation submitted by grantees to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with funding requirements.
- Assist with audits of financial records and supporting documentation.
- Identify missing information, discrepancies, or documentation gaps and communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Scan, organize, and maintain electronic financial records and supporting files.
- Ensure documentation is properly filed and accessible within electronic document management systems.
- Support the fiscal team with general accounting and administrative tasks.
- Assist with record maintenance, compliance tracking, and financial documentation projects.
- Experience with grants administration, grant compliance, or nonprofit accounting.
- Familiarity reviewing invoices, receipts, reimbursement requests, and supporting documentation.
- Experience supporting audits or compliance-related accounting activities.
