Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a banking organization in Blue Ash, Ohio on a Contract basis. This role supports core accounting operations by handling payment-related activities, assisting with cash transactions, and helping maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with invoice processing, reconciliations, and administrative accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• • Review equipment funding payables and prepare disbursements for approval

• • Support cash management functions by coordinating wire setup and helping track daily banking activity

• • Assist with account reconciliation work, including balancing bank records and general ledger entries

• • Compile and organize financial data to help produce recurring accounting and operational reports

• • Perform data entry related to invoices, payments, and account activity with a high degree of accuracy

• • Provide clerical and administrative support for the accounting team as needed

• • Help maintain organized records and documentation for payment and reconciliation activities

• • Experience supporting accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, or invoice processing

• • Proficiency with data entry and maintaining accurate financial information

• • Familiarity with bank reconciliations, general ledger support, or cash management activities

• • Ability to prepare and review payment-related documentation with strong attention to detail

• • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring deadlines

• • Comfortable using standard accounting systems and spreadsheet tools

• • Effective written and verbal communication skills in an office environment that values attention to detail
