Accounting Analyst Investment Management

Robert Half's Financial Services Division is partnering with an established investment management firm in the Peninsula seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its growing finance team.

The firm works with institutional and private investors across public and private markets, with a focus on investments that support long-term financial returns and meaningful global impact. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative investment team and gain exposure to a diverse range of investment strategies, fund accounting, and portfolio reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage investment accounting, cash reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support month-end close, investment valuations, and general ledger reviews.
• Prepare portfolio analysis, performance reports, and financial schedules.
• Assist with audits and quarterly/annual reporting.
• Partner with investment teams and external providers to ensure accurate financial data.
• Analyze large datasets and identify discrepancies across accounting systems.
• Leverage automation, technology, and AI tools to streamline accounting processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of accounting or financial services experience; audit or investment accounting preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Exposure to investment accounting, fund administration, or financial reporting.
• Strong systems aptitude; Investran experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, VBA, Python, or Power BI is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or Copilot.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
