About the Role Tenaris is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Houston to provide timely and accurate accounting information, maintain ledger accounts, and develop financial statements and reports within the Administration & Finance department. The role supports budgeting, cost analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive reliable financial performance. What You'll Do
- Provide accounting and analytical support to the accounting department.
- Provide reporting for profitability and cost analysis.
- Support budget preparation and performance measurement.
- Administer the catalog of cost centers.
- Type accurately, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Prepare orders, general ledger postings, and statements.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Enter key data of financial transactions into the database daily.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Constantly update job knowledge through on-the-job training, project assignments, and training activities.
- Analyze information and prepare deliverables such as reports and processes.
- Gain deep knowledge of the processes you are exposed to.
- Develop specific projects within the Accounting department.
- Develop and manage a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure the area’s results.
- Maintain regular contact with other areas of the company and interact with different hierarchical levels to achieve expected results.
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Observe core processes and continue professional development. What We're Looking For
- Familiarity with advanced accounting procedures.
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers.
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
- Data entry and word processing skills.
- Well-organized.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus. Nice to Have
