We are looking for a motivated accounting professional who wants to build a long-term career within Finance and Accounting. The ideal candidate combines a solid accounting foundation with external audit experience, strong analytical capabilities, advanced English communication skills, and a proactive approach toward continuous improvement and process optimization.
As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting General Ledger activities and ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of financial information in accordance with Company policies, accounting standards, legal regulations, and tax requirements.
Your main responsibilities will include:
General Ledger & Financial Reporting
- Coordinate the journal entries booking and supporting documentation.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Execute and monitor foreign currency valuation processes.
- Analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Banking & Cash Management
- Validate bank postings and bank-related transactions.
- Perform weekly and monthly bank account reconciliations.
- Support cashpool accounting processes, balance reconciliations, and interest accruals.
- Monitor and analyze cashpool balances and foreign exchange impacts.
Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Prepare and provide information requested by auditors.
- Analyze accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate audit requests and follow up with different business areas.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
Billing Support
- Support miscellaneous billing activities and reporting.
- Reconcile issued invoices against tax reporting systems.
- Assist with electronic accounting and statutory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with Tax on accounting-related matters.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
- Support the implementation of new accounting tools, controls, and procedures.
- Document accounting processes and maintain up-to-date work instructions.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize accounting activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Reporting, and Operations teams.
- Support accounting activities for multiple locations within the organization.
- Communicate effectively with local and global stakeholders.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 1-3 years of experience in Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, or External Audit.
- Previous experience in a External Audit Firm is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial analysis activities.
- Exposure to multinational or manufacturing environments is considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Mexican GAAP and IFRS is desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, and financial data analysis.
- Experience using data automation and reporting tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP FI or similar financial applications.
- Familiarity with data extraction, reconciliation, and validation techniques.
- Understanding of internal controls, audit procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Basic understanding of database concepts, data structures, or analytical tools is desirable.
- AI-enabled productivity tools (Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies) applied to finance and accounting processes.
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) is required.
