About the Role BTVK Advisory is seeking an Accounting Advisory Manager to lead global client service teams in delivering accounting advisory solutions including financial accounting and reporting excellence, SPAC/IPO readiness, and complex GAAP conversions. The role focuses on delivering high-quality work on time and managing junior staff, with opportunities to lead and develop a team of accounting advisory experts.
What You'll Do
- Lead global client service teams to execute solutions: Financial Accounting and Reporting Excellence; Transaction accounting – SPAC/Target companies, IPO readiness; GAAP conversions; accounting changes; complex accounting solutions; accounting policy and governance; audit remediation and readiness; training; manage and develop junior team members.
- Develop and lead a team of experts in accounting advisory across levels and ensure high-quality output on time and budget.
- Identify development opportunities and training needs for high-performing team.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience (CA/CPA/ACCA) in auditing or finance controllership roles, including at least 4 years of Financial Accounting and Advisory experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and client management skills; strong business development and marketing skills.
- Expert knowledge of transactions, business combinations, IPO readiness, SPAC; Expert knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and Indian accounting standards.
- Extensive hands-on experience in GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards; drafting and designing accounting memos; technical accounting research and advisory; consolidation and compilation support; financial statement close process support.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and ability to train and mentor others.
- Experience delivering technical training and mentoring within accounting advisory teams.
