Responsibilities

• Performs daily General Ledger accounting activities, including posting journal entries, processing accounts reconciliations and following up on aged accrual accounts.

• Handles the full fixed assets lifecycle tasks, including assets changes, capitalization, and depreciation validation.

• Gathers and prepares data for internal and external financial and statistical reports.

• Processes employees expense claims.

• Prepares internal costs re-invoicing files by gathering accounting data and applying applicable financial requirements.

• Performs accounting calculations of low to medium complexity, adhering to IFRS standards, and reports low-complexity HFM units.

• Trains and educates new and existing finance colleagues, including cross-functional teams.

• Ensures timely and accurate documentation of service-related business knowledge.

• Implements and ensures adherence to global accounting policies and internal processes.

• Performs month-end and year-end closing activities, including internal and external audit.

• Ensures compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) and internal policies, consistently meeting set KPIs.

• Ensures assigned tasks are performed efficiently, professionally, and to a high standard of quality.

• Contributes to continuous improvement ideas for Record-to-Report processes.

• Executes other tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant and the Line Manager.

• Profile

• BSc (or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is an advantage.

• Relevant and/or similar work experience within accounting field (minimum 2 years).

• Experience with Record-to-Report (RTR) processes and General Ledger accounting.

• Proficient Microsoft Office skills and experience with SAP, Power BI, and ServiceNow.

• Strong accountability and analytical, solution-oriented mindset to problem-solving.

• Strive for continuous improvement and process optimization.

• Proven team player with a customer-focused mindset.

• Co-operation skills in a cross-cultural organization.

• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
