Job Summary
- The Accountant is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing tax documents, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- They also provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
- Conduct financial analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAN) is an advantage.

Proven experience in accounting or finance.

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
