Key Responsibilities

Supports daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, payroll, and general ledger.

Assists with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations (bank, utilities, fixed assets, trust accounts) and related accounting activities.

Monitors and contributes to the analysis of accounting data, contributing to the preparation of financial reports and statements for all operations, including warehouse and manufacturing.

Contributes to improvements in systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as needed.

Establishes and maintains fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Stays updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements & Skills
-
BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

At least 3 years of proven experience in a relevant position, preferably in a manufacturing company.

Knowledge of IFRS is considered an asset.

Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.

Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
