Accountant
Bridget Killen with Robert Half is partnering with a growing organization in the Eugene area to identify an Accountant with payroll experience who enjoys being involved in both the day-to-day accounting functions and payroll process.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable owning payroll, managing accounts payable, processing employee expenses, and supporting month-end accounting activities.
What You'll Do

Process and submit payroll accurately and on schedule

Manage accounts payable and vendor payment processing

Review, code, and reconcile employee expense reports

Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations

Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

Maintain accurate payroll, accounting, and financial records

Support general ledger activities and financial reporting

Collaborate with employees, vendors, and leadership on payroll and accounting matters

Requirements
-
3+ years of accounting experience
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience working in small to mid-sized organizations
-
Multi-state payroll experience a plus

Experience processing and submitting payroll from start to finish

Accounts payable, expense management, and bank reconciliation experience

Strong understanding of general ledger accounting

High attention to detail and accuracy

Experience with payroll and accounting software

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
