Accountant

Section: About the Role Power Ark Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain financial controls, and ensure statutory compliance.

Section: Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and cash flow reports.
• Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and receivable.
• Process invoices, receipts, and supplier payments.
• Maintain inventory records and reconcile stock values.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
• Ensure proper documentation, internal controls, and audit compliance.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide financial analysis to support management decisions.

Section: Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of in-house accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
• Experience in inventory accounting, budgeting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in solar energy, renewable energy, engineering, equipment distribution, or project-based industries is an advantage.
